Denver Engagement Photography - Mat and Dorie

One thing I love about having a photography business is being able to give the gift of pictures. A while back I posted pictures of this couple (you can see them here) and I was able to print one up and frame it for their engagement party.

Now they are engaged and I couldn't be more excited for their big day.  I remembered getting my engagement pictures and being amazed at how well they turned out and I hope they feel the same.

We went up the canyon to get some shots in the fun fall colors. Don't you just love this purple?

We also spent some time in downtown Golden, Colorado. The colors have started to make their way down the mountain; I just love fall!

Thanks for stopping by and if you are in the area and looking for pictures please contact me!

DeShazer Wedding Sneak Peek - Denver Wedding Photographer

This couple is seriously one of the sweetest! On the weekend of their wedding the highway completely shut down but it didn't seem to phase them! In fact the bride, Allison, called me to try to help me avoid it! Thank you Allison for letting me be a part of your special day!

Here are my favorites from the session.  I can't quit looking at them.  Yes that's right I am pretty proud of myself!

Enjoy!

Matt and Dorie - Couple Portraits

Matt has been my husband's best friend since elementary school.  It's amazing to see friends stick together so long.  I love being apart of their lives and having them in ours.  Dorie is the cutest thing and reminds me of a southern belle.  She fits into the circle of friends perfectly.  Thank you so much for letting me take your pictures.  I wanted to share my favorite with you.

Aren't they just so cute together? I hope I get to take more pictures of them soon!

Jefferson County Photography - Jon and Jenny

Jon and Jenny will be playing at a coffee shop on May 17th. (don't quote me on that - more details to come) Do these images make you want to go see them?

I had a hard time picking a favorite spot so I posted the main ones. Hope you enjoy!

My Family - Family Photography Session

My parents are far from empty nesters but they are down to one.  Mom has enjoyed spoiling her last daughter with lots of mom and daughter time.
Being 10 years younger than our brother, Caitlin has been basically an only child for the past 10 years!

Baby B Newborn Session

This, of course, is my favorite little person to photograph.  My son! While most newborns are getting their pictures done between 5-10 days old my guy had to wait until he was a month old. We spent 3 weeks in the hospital after he was born (the full story here). During those three weeks I would cry every time I thought about the cute squishy newborn photos I wouldn't be able to have of him.  I cried even more when the nurse told me she might have to put his next IV in his head.  My baby had a beautiful head of hair when he was born (he has since rubbed it out) and I couldn't bare the thought that I wouldn't get that baby hair shot.

But I did! I couldn't be happier with the way his "newborn" pictures turned out.
